# What is $DTB?

$DTB is a token developed by DataBlaze on the Aptos blockchain, and functions as both the primary utility token and the currency within DataBlaze's ecosystem.

$DTB provides utilities such as:

* In-game currency
* Governance
* Staking
* Community Rewards

### In-game currency

As the main utility it enables the buying and selling of in-game NFT assets on the DataBlaze Marketplace.

### Governance

Additionally, $DTB is also a governance token that allows holders to vote on decisions related to the project and its players' assets.

### Staking
